Tele-Data Guard Telephone Line Tap Detector
The new telephone line tap detector, will defeat telephone line
tapping and telephone recording devices. Line powered transmitters,
line activated tape recording controls, and all voltage activated
devices will not function. It will warn you of lineman headsets
and extension phone eavesdropping equipment.
Easy to install--no adjustments necessary. Simply plug the cord
from the Tele-Data Guard into your phone wall jack, then plug
your phone cord into the Tele-Data Guard.

Phone line tap detector and extension eavesdropping equipment
When installed on a phone the Tele-Data Guard when the green indicator
light is lit this means your line is safe to use. If the green
light goes out this means someone is tapping or listening from
an extention phone without a Tele-Data Guard installed or another
phone on your line is off the hook.
Private phone protection
When installed on two or more extensions on your line only one
phone can be used at one time, first come, first served.
Credit card checker
Two or more credit card checkers can share one telephone line
without interference, the other checkers can only be used when
the indicator light is lit.
Computer modem protection
If you have a computer with a modem installed, installing a Tele-Data
Guard on the modem line and all extension phones ensures that
your data transfer from the modem is secure. When the modem is
in use all the extensions are temporarily cut off.
Fax machine protection
If you have a fax machine, installing a Tele-Data Guard on the
fax line and all extension phones ensures that your fax transmission
is not interrupted. When the fax is in use all the extensions
are temporarily cut off.
By-pass push button
When you are using the phone the indicator light goes out, indicating
that your line is being tapped or someone is listening on another
extension, push the by-pass button to securely continue with your
conversation.
With dimensions of 3.25' x 1.5' x 1, the Tele-Data Guard is small
enough to be placed almost anywhere out of sight.
